Server Laws & Standards

Community Rules

To ensure a fair, respectful, safe, and competitive environment for everyone, all players must abide by our server regulations. By connecting to TickMC, you agree to uphold these terms.

⚠️
Important Notice: Ignorance of the rules is not an acceptable defense. You are fully responsible for any action originating from your account. If you are unsure whether an action, mod, or farm design is allowed, please open a support ticket on our official Discord before proceeding.
Rule 1 — General Conduct & Player Safety Zero Tolerance

  • 1.3 — Doxxing, Privacy & Real-Life Threats: Leaking, sharing, or threatening to share personal identifiable information (real names, physical addresses, IP addresses, phone numbers, personal social media) or making real-life harm threats will result in an immediate permanent network blacklist and referral to relevant authorities.
  • 1.4 — Inappropriate Usernames, Skins & Capes: Usernames, skins, capes, or player statues containing offensive imagery, sexual explicit content, hate symbols (such as swastikas), or references to tragic real-world events are prohibited. Offending players will be banned until the cosmetic is changed.
  • 1.5 — Impersonation & Mini-Modding: Impersonating server staff, developers, or content creators is forbidden. While helping newcomers in chat is encouraged, do not backseat moderate ("mini-mod") by issuing fake warnings or threatening bans on behalf of staff; use /report instead.
  • 1.6 — Common Sense & Rule Loopholes: Attempting to exploit phrasing loopholes, technicalities, or vague wording to bypass the spirit of the rules will be treated as an intentional violation. Staff decisions are based on user intent.
Rule 2 — Chat, Discord & Communication Etiquette Chat Policy
  • 2.1 — Chat Spamming & Flooding: Do not flood public chat with repeated messages, excessive uppercase characters (CAPS), rapid copy-pasting, ASCII art, or unnecessary command outputs.
  • 2.2 — English in Global Chat: Global chat must remain in English so moderators can supervise the community effectively. Non-English conversations are welcome in private messages (/msg), town chat (/tc), nation chat (/nc), or party chat (/pc).

While wilderness exploration and harvesting are permitted, senseless wilderness griefing (e.g. lava casting, cobble monstering, destroying public pathways) is strictly punishable.

  • 6.2 — Real World Trading (RWT) & Cross-Trading: Buying, selling, or offering to trade in-game currency, items, rank keys, accounts, or towns for real-world money (PayPal, Crypto, Venmo, CashApp), external gift cards, or items on other games/servers is strictly prohibited and results in an immediate permanent blacklist.

Using alternative accounts to evade mutes/bans, farm daily starter kits, boost vote rewards, or bypass player caps is strictly banned and results in all accounts being permanently suspended.
  • 7.3 — Lag Machines & Redstone Clocks: Creating intentional lag machines, rapid unthrottled redstone pulsers, chunk-loading loops, or cascading water/sand drops intended to reduce server TPS is forbidden. Unoptimized continuous redstone must include a manual shut-off switch.
